I just purchesed one of the miller figures and I was woundering if you could tell me if the figure would worth more money in the package or if I take it out and get it signed by Ryan Miller would the value go down due to it being out of the original package that I pharchesed it in?
Joshua - I asked one of our knowledgeable experts here at Dave and Adam’s about your figure, here is his response “I would personally say the signed figure would be worth more, but it all depends on the point of view of the personal your trying to sell it to. If they’re an autographed memorabilia collector, then signed is better. If they’re an unopened toy collector, then unopened is better. There really is no right or wrong answer.”

Just for the record advertising does work. I’m from Canada, and listen WGR and heard your ad regarding the ryan miller figure. I would like to give you the business, as we usually pick up our McFarlane toys at Wal Mart here in Canada. My family will be in Amherst for my daughter’s cheer leading competition April 12th weekend. Would you be able to hold one for my son at your introductory price. Moreover, I’m sure we’ll pick up some other Sabre merchandise, as before we only knew of Laux’s Sports store.

As of right now, the only signings we currently have coming up are:
Thomas Vanek on March 6th(tickets on sale now), and Clarke MacArthur on March 18th(tickets go on sale starting tonight).
I have one of the figures, and I had Ryan sign it recently. The signature looks nice, with the blue sharpie over the ice. It’s a nice addition to my large collection!
